Every year at the June SoRo Festival the SoRo Community Foundation and South Robertson Neighborhoods Council (SORO NC) partner to recognize people who have made a difference in the community with the Susan Bursk Community Service Award.
Named for Susan Bursk, the founding President of the Community Foundation and the first recipient back in 2007, this award is given each year to recognize a SORO stakeholder who has demonstrated commitment, involvement, service, and/or leadership with a far-reaching and positive impact on the SORO community.
